Volunteer Opportunities
Group Facilitator
Group facilitators (21+) are paired with a young HOBY alumnus (under 21) to lead and facilitate group interactions of 8-12 student ambassadors. Facilitators will carry out group bonding activities, conversations following speakers and whole group activities, and create a safe environment where students can be themselves.
Photographers & Videographers
Photographers and videographers (preferably 18+) allow us to capture memories for our ambassadors to cherish for years to come and also help us create promotional material for the following years. This is an especially great resume and portfolio booster for those wanting to pursue multimedia professions.
Medic
The medic is responsible for handling and dispensing all ambassador and junior staff medications throughout the seminar. They will also troubleshoot medical situations and provide as-needed care. Medical certification (EMT, nurse, medical student, etc.) preferred. First aid/CPR certification required
